Looking inward, even if it’s hard, is an act of strength and freedom.

From this conviction comes a painting practice that explores interiority as a space of research, healing, and truth, where individual experience and collective dynamics intertwine. The diagnosis of fibromyalgia marks the turning point that gives rise to this expressive urgency.

Diletta Lucrezi, also known as Diluce, is a self-taught artist.  She received her first guidance from her mother, a former student of Giuseppe Capogrossi.

Her work begins with urban visions suspended between dream and memory, representing a first form of introspection, an attempt to reconnect with the oldest part of herself, shaped in the metropolis. The evolution toward an abstract and material language deepens the contact with invisible tensions, inner conflicts, and emotional layers.

She mainly uses acrylics and texture pastes.

A dentist, she lives and works in Italy.

She exhibited in 2024 in a group show on Via Margutta, Rome.

Between memories, visions and inner light. Into the human self.
